We have a no-kill mission to save the lives of homeless cats and dogs abandoned and/or placed in kill shelters, while also providing life-saving programs and services to keep pets and their people together. Through outreach, education and service, we provide cats and dogs with an opportunity to live their full lives.

Blessing of the Animals

We welcome everyone in the community to the Blessing of the Animals in honor of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi. Bring your dogs on leashes, cats or other pets in appropriate carriers and come Saturday, October 7th at 9 a.m. to Faith Presbyterian Church, 2900 North Main, Baytown. Reverend Jim Gill will lead a short service and bless your animals. The Animal Food Pantry welcomes any animal food you would like to donate. Microchipping will be available after the blessing at a discount thanks to A Life to Live and SNAP. SNAP will be providing free wellness care to Hurricane Harvey evacuees. Services include: vaccines, deworming and flea prevention. A form, receipt or card from FEMA providing proof of aid is required to receive the free services.
